Passion, Play and Purpose

We gather at this retreat to clear, realign and tune our vessels. To feel the creative energy that pulses within us and the beauty that wants to flow through us. To sense the elements, the seasons and the wisdom we are a part of. To move, dance, sing and play in our passion and our purpose. To free our voices and claim why we are here. To remember who we truly are and what we are capable of.

Are you ready to bring your vision into reality? Are you ready to live in your passion, purpose and highest truth?

What We'll Be Doing

We will practice daily yoga, meditation and pranayama while integrating tools to clear our energetic centers and patterns. We will work our way through the Chakra system using nature, the elements and practices to guide us through blockages and reignite creative flow. Workshops and activities will include dance/somatic movement, vocal activation, fire/song circles, breathwork, cacao/herbal elixirs, art, writing and rituals to build creative habits with Self and source. We will also use exercises to integrate our inner child and shadows in order to bring our wholeness to the creative process. When we are present and clear channels then the process of receiving, cultivating and transmitting our authentic truth and vision into the world becomes instinctive and natural.

From Vision into Reality

Humans are energetic antennas tapped into the field of consciousness. When our energetic centers are aligned and our bodies are finely tuned then inspiration and ideas flow in. But what happens next? So you’ve got inspiration but what do you do with it?

Ideas come to manifest in the physical world by flowing through our bodies and energetic centers called Chakras. First an idea enters our consciousness from our connection to source at the crown of the head. Then we dream and visualize the idea in our minds eye. After a vision is formulated we start to speak this vision into existence. We then connect with others who hold this same vision in their hearts. As the vision starts to take form we use the will power centered in our core to carry if forward. We then dance this vision into existence through collaborating with others to harness the creative power beyond ourselves. Finally this vision has made its way into physical reality and we get to enjoy, relish and nourish ourselves in the power of creation.

But so many visions don’t make it through because they get stuck along the way. And that’s what this retreat is all about. Getting you clear and unstuck so that you can align with your highest vision and bring it into reality.

Food Philosophy

Food is an integral part of the retreat experience and we take great care to ensure the food we serve aligns with the values we will be embodying throughout the retreat. Our food philosophy is influenced by permaculture, regenerative agriculture and the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, a sister science of Yoga. We will be observing a vegetarian diet and sourcing food from our regenerative farming network highlighting local ingredients and seasonal recipes. We will offer meat/fish at one dinner for those who are interested. We work for a non-profit called Drylands Agroecology Research and will be sourcing food from our partner network of farms, Elk Run Farm pictured below. Mindful eating and presence are vital aspects of connecting with the food, farmers and the land from which it was cultivated. We will be practicing silence during breakfast as a way to nourish our bodies and give thanks to the abundance we are gifted by Mother Earth.
