Echoes of the Heart – Cacao, Connection & Chanting
Saturday | February 7, 2026 | 2–4 PM
UniTea House | Arcata, CA
With Matt Lawley & Lauryn Lavandula
$20 Pre | $25 Door
You’re warmly invited to an afternoon of song, play, and heartfelt expression. Together, we’ll open our voices, attune to one another, and weave harmony in a shared space of connection and creativity.
Cacao is a gentle and powerful plant ally, supporting us in opening the heart and freeing the voice. We’ll begin by gathering in intention, sharing cacao, and calling in her spirit through song. From there, we’ll be guided through soft breathwork, gentle movement, and vocal-opening practices to prepare the body and voice.
As the circle unfolds, we’ll explore accessible, sing-along songs drawn from medicine music, circle singing, and kirtan – designed to help align our voices and collective energy. There will also be space for participants to offer songs, as well as an open invitation to explore group song creation and improvisation if the energy calls for it.
Come as you are. Bring your voice, your heart, and your curiosity, and join us for a magickal afternoon of co-creation, resonance, and celebration.
